Slendy Rodr\u00edguez prestar\u00e1 apoyo t\u00e9cnico y ayudar\u00e1 a orientar la investigaci\u00f3n sobre restauraci\u00f3n forestal en el marco de la naciente Unidad T\u00e9cnica de Reforestaci\u00f3n Inteligente. Tiene una s\u00f3lida formaci\u00f3n en la ciencia de la reforestaci\u00f3n y la restauraci\u00f3n y un gran inter\u00e9s por el trabajo de extensi\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originaria de Colombia, la Dra. Rodr\u00edguez ha recibido numerosos premios a la excelencia acad\u00e9mica, desde el bachillerato hasta el postgrado. Como estudiante de maestr\u00eda en la Universidad Distrital, Colombia, recibi\u00f3 el Premio de Investigaci\u00f3n Thomas Van der Hammen del Jard\u00edn Bot\u00e1nico de Bogot\u00e1. Complet\u00f3 su doctorado en Bot\u00e1nica y Ecolog\u00eda en la Universidad de Tartu, Estonia. Slendy ha trabajado para Parques Nacionales Naturales de Colombia, el Jard\u00edn Bot\u00e1nico de Bogot\u00e1, la Sociedad para la Conservaci\u00f3n de la Vida Silvestre y la Secretar\u00eda Municipal de Medio Ambiente de Bogot\u00e1, y ha ocupado puestos de coordinaci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n en proyectos sobre ecolog\u00eda funcional, servicios ecosist\u00e9micos, conservaci\u00f3n forestal, almacenamiento de carbono, investigaci\u00f3n a escala de paisaje, educaci\u00f3n ambiental y participaci\u00f3n comunitaria.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Dra.
