Botanical Illustration with an emphasis on pen and ink

The Botanical Illustration workshop is designed for people to collect, observe, and illustrate a plant from the diverse tropical forests of Panama (BCI or Gamboa). During the workshop, participants will be introduced to the history of Botanical Illustration and will develop their own pen and ink illustration of a plant specimen guided by the instructor. Through this process, illustrators will improve their observation and botanical skills.
