Lab Alumni

Currently I am a marine biologist undergraduate student who is a volunteer in the Connolly lab, I assist with segmentation tasks and work on training an AI tool to differentiate between two Pocillopora species, helping to document changes over time and space in the RRR project. I’m focused on using emerging technologies to support ecological researches and have a better understanding of our marine ecosystems. My previous experiences were focused on ecology and biodiversity, supporting as an assistant on marine and freshwater plankton university researches, also had the opportunity to work on fields such as fisheries, and have training on fish gonads histology and fish necropsy.
