Veamos porque son tan importantes los manglares<\/h4>\n

Los manglares tienen diversas funciones:<\/p>\n

*Criadero y refugio de especies costeras: <\/em><\/strong>Los manglares son hogares para un mont\u00f3n de especies de plantas y animales marinos debido a que crecen muy cerca uno del otro. Las ra\u00edces de los manglares ofrecen un lugar seguro, con alimento y muchos escondrijos donde los peces y animales peque\u00f1os pueden vivir, crecer y poner sus huevos fuera del peligro de otros depredadores.<\/p>\n

*Protecci\u00f3n de los suelos costeros:<\/em><\/strong> Sus ra\u00edces estabilizan la arena y el lodo formando terrenos donde otras plantas pueden crecer. Protegen al hombre, sus viviendas y estructuras de las marejadas producidas por las tormentas, huracanes y Tsunamis. Por tanto, pueden salvar muchas vidas.<\/p>\n

*Recursos forestales:<\/em><\/strong> Proporcionan madera para construcciones y para producir el carb\u00f3n. El mangle rojo que es la especie m\u00e1s explotado en la costa pac\u00edfica de Panam\u00e1.<\/p>\n

*Purificar el aire:<\/em><\/strong> los \u00e1rboles de mangle absorben el di\u00f3xido de carbono y producen ox\u00edgeno que es el aire que respiramos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
