What did Megalodon eat?

Megalodon was so big that it could eat whatever it wanted! By looking at the shape of their teeth, we can tell that they were carnivorous. Megalodon’ s teeth serrations suggest that it was capable of slicing voraciously. These giants mainly ate marine mammals during their adult stage, and like in other shark species, they also ate individuals of their same species like cannibals. Studies have shown that when Megalodon was just a baby, it preferred to hide in shallow waters to avoid being predated by other sharks and ate fish rather than mammals.
