However, we do not have evidence from complete skeletons because, like all sharks, this fish is made of<\/span>\u00a0<a class=\"a\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cartilage\">cartilage\u00a0<\/a><span class=\"textoEng\">and not bone, so it does not completely fossilize. The good news is that their teeth do fossilize and therefore it is possible to calculate the length of this giant by using the relationship between tooth height and total length of the animal, as in modern species.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How big was Megalodon?
