My main research interest is plant population and community ecology in grassland ecosystems of central Europe. In addition, I analyze data from various projects across plant and animal ecology. In this lab, I analyze long term monitoring data of tropical insects to identify temporal trends in population dynamics and their relationships to climate, and functional traits to establish functional classification of studied taxa.
