Want to join our lab?

Our institution offers internship and fellowship through STRI or Smithsonian-wide opportunities. The difference between an internship and a fellowship is that during an internship, you will be mainly helping with an established project, with the opportunity to develop a side project. On the other hand, fellows write a proposal to come to Panama and develop their own project under the mentorship of the staff scientists or postdocs working with us.

STRI Fellowships include funding for Short-term proposals (3 months), predoctoral, graduate and postdoctoral fellows.

Due soon:

The NOMIS Foundation and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute seek outstanding biologists to join cohorts of three-year postdoctoral fellows in animal behavior. https://stri.si.edu/academic-programs/fellowships/tropical-animal-behavior-3-year-fellowship
