Are sharks Dangerous to Human?

Sure, it is true that sharks have attacked and killed people. However, it is very unlikely that a shark will attack a person. The few attacks registered in the world happen for  three main reasons:

  • People are careless or foolish: Some people are attacked because after they find a shark, they try to feed it or stretch its tail while it is resting.
  • Sharks are curious: Some attacks occur because of a shark’s curiosity. Sharks may bite to figure out what our strange human shape is about, but they rarely bite humans to feed.
  • Sharks are scared: When some sharks feel threatened, they bite to defend themselves, as many land animals might do.
